Search Engines Submissions
Despite of the increase of paid inclusions and listings, you can still manually submit a website for free to several search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN, if you do not have money to pay your submissions, and even look for free search engines submission services and software, to get a website listed in some more search engines for free.
Submission to Google. Be aware that if a website does not have incoming links from other sites, regardless of submitting it will not be included in the Google index. You need at least one incoming link to show up in Google at all, but if you submitted a site to the major directories like DMOZ and Yahoo and got listed with one of them, then Google and other search engines will almost certainly pick up the URL that was listed.
Paid Inclusions
Paid inclusion consists in paying a fee to a search engine or directory to have a website included in their index within a few days, instead of the regular time it takes to index a website with a free submission. Paid inclusion is suggested for brand new websites, and also because sometimes even the best crawler-based search engine might find difficult to index or even miss some of your web pages, with paid inclusions, all the pages are indexed for sure and although it does not guarantee a higher search engine ranking, being more deeply indexed can make more likely appearing in a wider range of searches. Unfortunately many search engines and directories are now only offering this option, so to ensure listings our advice is to have ready a search engine submission budget.
